Robert comenced his service to the condominium management industry in 1981 as a property management trainee.  In 1991 he became Vice President of Percel Inc. and assumed the responsibility of increasing the company's portfolio.  In 1998, he assumed the position of President after the passing of the company’s founder and President, the late Paul (Percy) Weinberg.  His company currently manages approximately 8,000 condominium units throughout the GTA, Muskoka and the Georgian Triangle.

Robert's formal education includes a B.A. (Honours) in Math and Commerce from York University in 1984 and an MBA in 1989 from the Schulich School of Business (York University). He received his A.C.C.I. designation in 1993 and RCM designation in 1993. 

Robert recently completed his two-year term as PRESIDENT of the Board for the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO), and he had served on the ACMO Board from 2009 to 2019. Robert served for seven years as Chair of the ACMO Ethics Committee.  Along with his other duties he is also Chair of the Professional Standards Committee,  Past-Chair of the ACMO - CCI-T Conference and Member of the ACMO/CCI Joint Government Relations Committee.

Robert is a General Licensee as awarded by the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CMRAO).

Robert has also served as an elected Director on the Board of the Canadian Condominium Institute, Huronia Chapter. 

Robert has also contributed and written many articles for various industry related magazines.
